Pub now set to be converted into residential care facility

LOS ANGELES: A pub is now set to be converted into an upscale residential care facility.

The St George’s Road property has been vacant since 2009 and was said to be in a poor state of repair.

Proposals went before Anglesey planners in September but were deferred for a site visit which has now taken place.

Anglesey Council’s planning and orders committee will now discuss the application at a meeting today (2 October).

A recommendation has been made in an officer’s report to permit the application.
