Premium apartments for boomers now available for purchase

MELBOURNE: Premium apartments for boomers are being built above a shop front on a city regeneration site.

The Lambert to be built in Royston Park will span three storeys and have 24 apartments priced between $1.1m and $1.8m.

The apartments, which will range in size from 92sqm to 102sqm, are tipped to set a benchmark for quality and comfort in the area.

Each one will have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a car parking space.

Construction is expected to start later this year and be finished by late next year.

With a growing demand for premium homes in sought-after locations, the apartments are appealing to local downsizers and young professionals getting into the market with their parents’ support.

The project is led by local developer Rob Colangelo and designed in collaboration with Paulo Piteo from boutique architecture and design firm PITEO.

Mr Colangelo said it was born out of the changing needs of eastern suburbs buyers, who wanted to remain connected to the community they knew and loved.

“We saw a real opportunity to deliver something considered and enduring for people who value quality and location,” he said.

“For downsizers, The Lambert offers the chance to stay local without compromise.

Mr Piteo said their focus for its design was calm and timeless residences that prioritised comfort and longevity.
