Best retirement village design for Global Awards shortlisted
LOS ANGELES: The shortlist for the best seniors housing design has been declared.
Over 250 designs have been considered by the awards secretariat. One of the finalists in this category is shown above.
RSL LifeCare has announced the stage 2 release of its Dumaresq Retirement Village at RSL LifeCare Nowra Community, setting a new standard in retirement living. Nestled on the picturesque South Coast of NSW, this expansion introduces a wealth of offerings and services, transforming the village into a unique community catering to all retirement needs.
The Dumaresq Retirement Village features thoughtfully designed villas, providing spacious living spaces, ensuite bathrooms, and convenient parking. The centrepiece of the community is the beautifully restored Heritage Clubhouse, known as “RSL LifeCare Nowra House.” This purpose-built facility fosters connection and recreation, offering residents and guests access to a main dining room, lounge area, a communal kitchen and dining space, two expansive verandas, and an onsite Village Manager office.
Going beyond traditional retirement living, the RSL LifeCare Nowra Community offers an array of health and well-being support services, including RSL LifeCare at Home, the purpose-built RSL LifeCare Nowra Veteran Wellbeing Centre, and the Jonathan Rogers GC House residential aged care home on-site.
