Best retirement housing design for Global Awards shortlisted
LOS ANGELES: The shortlist for the best retirement housing design has been declared.
Over 250 designs have been considered by the awards secretariat. One of the finalists in this category is shown above.
If a house can be art, then this Rose Bay property is a masterpiece.
Crafted from the finest materials, and expertly designed to make the most of its glorious position, this Cornwall St abode leaves nothing to desire.
Lennard McLure director John Lennard described it as an exquisite home with no expense spared.
He said it was designed and built by award-winning Hobart builder Eiszele Construction for owners who did not want to hold back on anything.
“There are plenty of beautiful homes around Hobart, but few compare to this one — it’s totally unique,” Mr Lennard said.
“At No.63, there is a lot to discover, including features that tick the box for a luxurious lifestyle, and others that you may have never seen before. An example would be the hexagonal feature lighting in the huge garage, or the silent range hood in the kitchen.
“Everything about this property is very high quality. If there was an opportunity to select a material that is ‘as good as it gets’, that was what they chose.
“No expense has been spared to produce this unique family home.”
The Global Award winner will be announced in November in London. (Globals)
