Best CCRC designs for Global Awards shortlisted
LOS ANGELES: The shortlist for the best continuous care retirement communities (CCRC) design has been declared.
Over 250 designs have been considered by the awards secretariat. One of the finalists in this category is shown above.
Aegis Living is making waves with the much-anticipated opening of its brand-new assisted living and memory care community in the heart of Ballard on Market Street. Offering assisted living, memory care, and transitional care options, Aegis Living Ballard provides a supportive environment for seniors with specialized care so they can continue living in the neighborhood they know and love. The grand opening is set for Early 2024.
Drawing from over 25 years of experience, Aegis Living has earned a reputation as a best-in-class senior housing provider most known for its robust and research-based daily programming, upscale designs, and big-hearted company culture. The company’s commitment to making a difference in seniors’ lives has led to the development of 36 assisted living and memory care communities along the West Coast.
The moment visitors set foot into Aegis Living Ballard, it becomes apparent that every detail has been carefully curated to pay homage to the neighborhood’s maritime past. At the front reception, a water feature symbolizes the area’s rich fishing industry. Looking up, you’ll find a visual tribute to spawning salmon and Ballard Locks fish ladder. The exterior of the building showcases a cannery-style design reminiscent of the canning industry that once thrived along the shores of Puget Sound.
The Global Award winner will be announced in November in London. (Globals)
