$40m Boomers Sage Project secures $28m in sales before opening
MELBOURNE: A luxury golf resort apartment project has secured more than $28 million in sales, with 14 residences sold ahead of completion.
GH Properties’ $40 million Sage residences, adjacent to Links Golf & Wellbeing within the exclusive Hope Island Resort, have sold at an average price of more than $2 million.
The project is receiving its finishing touches, with its unveiling just weeks away.
Sage at Links comprises large two-bedroom apartments in waterfront positions from $1.63 million and three-bedroom apartments from $1.96 million.
“Sage has resonated strongly with buyers looking for a boutique, north-facing waterfront address inside an established resort,” said Ellen Guan, managing director, GH Properties which owns Links Golf & Wellbeing.
“Product of this calibre rarely comes to market, especially within a gated golf and resort community and this has tapped into a strong downsizer market of buyers who want to safety and security of a resort community.
The two configurations cater to distinct buyer profiles.
The large two-bedroom apartments offer waterfront living in a lower-maintenance format, while the three-bedroom residences provide additional space and a dual-aspect plan suited to the subtropical climate, drawing in northern light while allowing breezes to move through the home.
Sales agent Tony Hymus said the boutique nature of Sage had attracted strong interest from downsizers seeking luxury products.
“The fact that there are only 21 apartments has been a big drawcard for buyers,” he said.
“With completion in sight we don’t expect the remaining apartments to be on the market for too long.”
Positioned beside the Links Clubhouse within Hope Island Resort, every Sage apartment is north-facing and waterfront, with views across the canal and golf course.
Each apartment includes two carparking spaces, a dedicated golf buggy space and an allocated storage area in the car park, with pathways connecting residents directly to the resort.
Inclusions feature stone benchtops, designer appliances and butler’s pantries, supported by 24-hour security and CCTV.
Generous balconies extend the living spaces outdoors, spanning 14m across the large two-bedroom apartments and 10 metres across all other apartments.
A lift at each end of the building provides convenient access to residences while enhancing privacy.
Residents have access to the resort’s championship golf course, 25m pool, Champions Day Spa, wellness programs and dining at Sol Cafe and Bar and The Fountain Court.
Sage at Links is the latest stage of GH Properties’ long-term investment at Hope Island Resort, following the completed Gallery precinct and Saffron at Links.
