Grant to create 70 apartments for seniors at risk of homelessness

LOS ANGELES: A grant will now allow the creation of 70 apartments for seniors currently at risk of homelessness.

Rohnert Park now has a $28.7 million state windfall at its back in its efforts to convert a hotel into permanent supportive housing for seniors and veterans facing homelessness.

The project aims to create 70 apartments for tenants from the 142 rooms at the Best Western Sonoma Winegrower’s Inn.
