A proposed 42-bed assisted living and memory care project in Chanhassen has cleared a hurdle with the city’s Planning Commission and is headed to the City Council.
Tuesday night, the Chanhassen Planning Commission recommended approval of a site plan and variances for the Eden Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care facility, which will rise on a 3.5-acre site at 1620 Arboretum Blvd.
Rachel Jeske, Chanhassen city planner, said the project will be up for City Council review on Sept 22. Pending approvals, construction could begin next spring, said Andrew Altstatt of Fusion AE, which is overseeing design for the project.
Lighthouse Homes LLC is the developer and Eden Springs, LLC is the operator.
The Global Award winner will be announced in December in London. (Globals)
