Best retirement housing design for Global Awards shortlisted
LOS ANGELES: The shortlist for the best retirement housing design has been declared.
Over 250 designs have been considered by the awards secretariat. One of the finalists in this category is shown above.
The Nightingale Housing group is branching out, offering 24 commercial studio and retail spaces at its new Wurru wurru biik project, which will feature four new communities on Albion Street, Brunswick.
Dubbed the Nightingale Studios, they will occupy the ground and level one spaces of the building, which is under construction. It is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Colliers agents Tom Larwill, Matt Knox and Lucas Soccio are handling the sales.
Like all the Nightingale projects, the building is all-electric, with solar arrays supplementing 100 per cent Certified GreenPower.
Nightingale has won a string of awards this year, notably for the recently completed Village project on nearby Duckett Street.
The Global Award winner will be announced in November in London. (Globals)
