22-storey ‘zen garden’ tower to be built for downsizers

NEW YORK: Downsizers are the target market for a 22-storey ‘zen garden’ tower being built in a resort setting.

Brisbane-based developer Turrisi Properties has unveiled plans for a 22-storey residential tower on Broadbeach’s Armrick Ave.

Filed with the council on Wednesday, the tower will have 81 units, including three top-level penthouses.

Turrisi founder Gaetano Turrisi said the tower was his company’s first Gold Coast project.

“We are passionate about the development of the highest quality, bespoke residences in southeast Queensland and excited to be bringing our design standard to the Gold Coast,” he said.

“As our debut project on the Gold Coast, this is an opportunity for us to enhance one of the world’s most famous beachfront skylines and we have not made any compromises in crafting a well-designed residential tower with liveability as the top priority.”

Features include a Zen garden, beach showers, a surf craft room and rooftop deck.
